Barbara graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours Bachelor of Law degree (LLB). She qualified as a solicitor in 2009 having trained with Vincent & Beatty Solicitors in Dublin. For two years she worked as Judicial Fellow to Ms. Justice Laffoy of the High Court (Chancery List). Prior to joining Augustus Cullen Law, Barbara worked as a solicitor in the Office of the Chief State Solicitor and in the Department of Enterprise in the area of Company Law reform.
Barbara is based in our Property Law and Private Client Departments. She deals with a broad range of property matters such as sales and purchases, commercial, agricultural and residential leases, commercial and residential mortgages, voluntary transfers and applications for first registration. Barbara has advised on property rights including easements and rights of way. Her clients include private individuals, companies, property developers and public sector bodies.
Barbara practices in the area of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney (execution and registration of same) and General Powers of Attorney.
She advises clients on Company Law matters such as Shareholders’ Agreements and on Partnership Agreements.
Barbara holds a Diploma in Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring, a Certificate in Commercial Contracts, a Certificate in Technology Law and a Certificate in Arts, Entertainment and Media Law from the Law Society of Ireland. She is qualified to practice as a Trade Mark Agent and is on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. She has served for many years as a Committee Member of the Wicklow Solicitors’ Bar Association.
