On 5 December 2019, Augustus Cullen Law LLP. hosted a one day medical negligence seminar in the Convention Centre, Dublin. All proceeds from ticket sales were in aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, the charity offering care and support to children with severe neurological development issues up to the age of five years. The children that the Jack and Jill Foundation support usually need intensive home nursing care due to their condition. The Jack and Jill Foundation also offers respite directly to parents and families, or gives funding to allow them to buy home respite care. Over 40 legal professionals attended the seminar which raised €5200 for this fantastic charity. Thanks to everyone who attended the event and supported this worthy cause.

The seminar was chaired by Managing Partner of Augustus Cullen Law LLP., Joice Carthy. Speakers included Prof. Chris Fitzpatrick, Dr. Declan O’Rourke, Barrister, Alan Keating and Forensic and Legal Nursing Consultant, Sabrina O’Carroll, who shared various insights on topics related to birth injury litigation.

The process is a difficult one and when you deal with people who are so professional and yet genuine/real people, it makes it so much easier... so thanks a million.
