Augustus Cullen Law secure six figure sum on behalf of family of two day old infant boy who died as a result of severe neurological injuries sustained at birth. The Plaintiff’s case was that delivery should have been achieved at an earlier stage which would have prevented the death.

The Plaintiff’s medical negligence claim arose following the administration of excessive morphine (27 times the prescribed dosage) during an emergency caesarean section. As a consequence of the morphine overdose, she suffered from a short period of depressed respiration as well as slurred speech and confusion.
The Plaintiff’s medical negligence claim relates to a dental procedure carried out in December 2004. The Plaintiff presented at the dentist’s surgery with a bifurcation fracture of her LL6 tooth.
