Two years on from my case I have completed my degree with first class honours. Up until recently I felt a little disappointed that I never really felt “compensated” for what happened, but I now look at my settlement more as an enabler. It allowed me to concentrate more on my college work as I was not fretting when bills came in the door. I finished top of the class and was the only one to get a first class honours degree. I have also been offered a Masters in Trinity so things are looking up.
